Can you write a little more about “methane first” and what that means in terms of your actions and funding, if applicable?

I wrote about the reasoning behind "methane first" here: https://climateer.substack.com/p/aerosols. Really it's about all short-lived greenhouse gases: methane, carbon monoxide, VOCs, and black carbon. (And refrigerants, which I somehow neglected to mention in that post.) Methane is merely the most important. Eliminating these pollutants will have a faster impact on climate than eliminating CO₂, and we need that fast impact to blunt the peak of temperature rise and to counteract the rapid warming effect that will come as we stop emitting the sulfur that is a byproduct of burning fossil fuels.

I'm still coming up to speed on action / funding (and would welcome suggestions!). Two organizations that are doing important work here are Spark Climate Solutions (sparkclimate.org) and the Clean Air Task Force (www.catf.us).
